About the Role

As an MES Consultant – Technical at BEACON India, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering Manufacturing Execution System (MES/MOM) solutions for customers across manufacturing industries. You will work closely with clients to understand business requirements, configure and deploy MES solutions, integrate shop-floor systems with enterprise applications, and ensure successful project delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, manufacturing domain knowledge, and the ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities: As an MES Consultant – Technical at BEACON India, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering Manufacturing Execution System (MES/MOM) solutions for customers across manufacturing industries. You will work closely with clients to understand business requirements, configure and deploy MES solutions, integrate shop-floor systems with enterprise applications, and ensure successful project delivery. This role requires robust technical expertise, manufacturing domain knowledge, and the ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements for MES/MOM implementations.
- Design, configure, customize, and deploy MES solutions based on customer and business needs.
- Integrate MES solutions with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.) and shop-floor equipment.
- Implement machine connectivity using OPC-UA, MQTT, PLCs, SCADA, and IIoT technologies where applicable.
- Support production scheduling, quality management,



traceability, OEE monitoring, and shop-floor execution processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, developers, and customer teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), end-user training, and go-live support.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-implementation support.
- Prepare technical documentation, implementation reports, and deployment guides.
- Stay updated with Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Factory, and MES technology advancements.
- To Succeed in this Role

- 5–12 years of experience in MES/MOM implementation or manufacturing software consulting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management, and shop-floor operations.
- Experience implementing or supporting MES platforms such as DELMIAWorks (IQMS), Siemens Opcenter, AVEVA, Rockwell, GE Proficy, SAP Digital Manufacturing, or similar solutions.
- Experience integrating MES with ERP systems and industrial automation technologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL and exposure to programming technologies such as Java, C#, or .NET is desirable.
- Familiarity with OPC-UA, MQTT, PLCs, SCADA, IIoT, and machine connectivity concepts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Experience working in Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Industrial Machinery, Pharma, or other manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline). Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
