About the Role

MicroGenesis TechSoft is seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer to design and develop scalable web applications, integrations, and custom solutions for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, with experience integrating applications with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
- Design and implement secure and high-performing REST APIs.
- Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js.
- Develop integrations with Jira, Confluence, and other third-party systems.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement reliable solutions.




- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Skills

- Frontend: React.js, Redux/Context API, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS.
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js, REST API Development, WebSocket Integration.
- Database: MongoDB, Mongoose ODM, Knowledge of SQL Databases.
- Tools & Technologies: Git/GitHub, Docker, CI/CD Pipelines, Postman, JWT, OAuth, Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
- Atlassian Ecosystem: Jira, Confluence, Atlassian REST APIs, Integration Development (Preferred).
- Additional Skills: Microservices Architecture, AWS/Azure (Preferred), Next.js (Good to Have).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in MERN Stack development.
- Proven experience building enterprise-grade web applications.
- Strong understanding of contemporary software design principles and development practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
