3D Modeling: Develop detailed electrical models using Revit MEP for lighting, small power, cable trays, conduits, electrical panels (DBs), busducts, transformers, and earthing systems.
Clash Detection: Identify and resolve spatial conflicts between electrical routes and structural or mechanical elements using tools like Navisworks.Interdisciplinary Coordination:
Collaborate with architectural, structural, and HVAC teams to allocate shared ceiling and shaft spaces.
Documentation: Generate accurate shop drawings, load layout diagrams, material take-offs, and circuit schedules directly from the BIM model.Code Compliance: Ensure designs follow local and international electrical codes (such as NEC or IEC standards).
Required Skills and Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
Software Proficiency: Solid hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical distribution, panel scheduling, cable sizing, and building services coordination.
Experience: 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in MEP coordination and BIM-based construction projects
