Job Summary

DHAJ PROJECT PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a MEP Engineer to join our construction project team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating MEP works at site, ensuring execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day MEP site activities.
- Execute and monitor Electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, ELV and other MEP works as applicable.
- Review and interpret IFC, shop and coordinated MEP drawings.
- Coordinate MEP works with Civil, Structural and Architectural teams.
- Monitor subcontractor and manpower activities at site.
- Check installation quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate material requirements, material inspections and site material availability.
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower reports and work status updates.
- Coordinate WIR/IR, MIR/MAR, RFI and other project documentation.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and inspection activities.
- Identify site issues, clashes and delays and report them to the Project Manager.
- Ensure proper implementation of project quality and safety requirements.
- Monitor planned vs.



actual progress and support timely completion of project activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in snagging, punch-point closure and final project handover.

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / MEP Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in construction / MEP contracting projects is preferred.
- Positive knowledge of MEP installation and construction practices.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Good communication, coordination and site-management skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site manpower.
- Willingness to work at construction project sites.

Experience

0–5 years of relevant experience in MEP / construction projects.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month, based on experience and skills.

Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
