Role Description The Medical Doctor will provide evidence-based clinical care to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, including initial assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and therapies, and coordinating with nursing and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.

The role also involves participation in emergency coverage, documentation of clinical encounters, adherence to hospital protocols and regulatory standards, and contribution to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Doctor is expected to collaborate closely with specialty departments such as Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, and Dentistry as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Vidyapati Hospital in Motihari.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess recognized medical qualifications (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid registration with the relevant medical council.
- Candidates should possess strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, including history taking, physical examination, and interpretation of laboratory and imaging results.
- Candidates should possess skills in acute and chronic disease management, treatment planning, and evidence-based prescribing, including emergency care where required.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills for counseling patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining clear documentation.
