JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for complete Designing of Sub Critical, Cascade and Trans-critical Refrigeration systems for Super-market and Industrial Refrigeration Systems .

2. Exposure to different refrigerants like CO2, NH 3 , R-22, R-134a, R407A/407C, R507, R448A/R449A, R404A and A2L class Refrigerants.

3. Selection of equipment’s like Compressors, High Pressure and low-pressure vessels, Oil Separators, Pressure drop calculation for Piping, Condenser, Evaporators and other Heat Exchangers for Refrigeration system.

- Understanding the Engineering drawings, analytical reports, design calculations and Concepts.

5. Experience on selection of components like Stop valves, Control valves (electrical & mechanical), filter dryers etc.,

- Eperience of CO2 Cascade or Trans-critical Systems or at least Ammonia Refrigeration systems will be preferable.
- Should have experience in system balancing and able to work in computer simulation and selection tools like Compressors, Heat exchangers, Condenser, other major Refrigeration equipment’s.
- Need to be good experience in Thermal load calculations, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Knowledge/Experience in Large Refrigeration Systems with different types of Defrost Methods and capacity control by using VFD, Digital/CRII/CMRC and Unloaders for Compressors.

Hands on experience in Auto CAD preferred ( Auto-CAD/ Draft sight ).

11. Preparation of detailed BOM for entire Refrigeration system based on cost, quality and operation priority.

12. Candidate must be proficient using Windows Office, Excel and ERP software .

13. Knowledge on ASHRAE, ASME standards and ability to learn new standards like IIAR or other American Standards in Refrigeration System designing

- Suggest performance improvement ideas back to design.
- Capability of Supporting to Production and Service Team if any issues in System Design/performance.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Bachelor/ master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field with at least 3-8years of industry experience in a Technology development environment designing and selection of components for Refrigeration Systems

· Very good basics in Refrigeration concepts and heat load calculations.

· Understanding of Electrical Controls and components in Refrigeration systems.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Ability works independently as well as in collaborative team in INDIA/USA setting.
