Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 5-10 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using NX or Creo.
- Prepare fabrication, machining, and sheet metal drawings in compliance with ASME,AWS and company standards.
- Apply GD&T; principles for functional and manufacturable designs.
- Manage and work on large assemblies containing 5K+ parts.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD or PTC Creo CAD for 3D modelling and design.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing manufacturing drawings for:
- Sheet metal components
- Machined parts
- Fabricated and welded structures
- Solid knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards.
- Knowledge of AWS welding standards and welding symbols.
- Ability to create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing related documentation.
- Experience handling and managing large CAD assemblies (5,000+ components) in NX or Creo.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and fabrication processes.
- Good understanding of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Teamcenter PLM or equivalent Product Lifecycle Management systems.
