Job Summary

For an MBA student who wants a real commercial question rather than a case study. Indian racing has no equivalent of the Equine Injury Database. Whether one is worth building, what it would cost a club, and what it would be worth to them - that is the work.

Responsibilities

- Research how injury and welfare reporting works across Indian racing clubs today, and where the gaps are

- Study the international comparison: the Jockey Clubs Equine Injury Database, HISA in the United States, and what their published figures show

- Build the commercial case for club-level compliance monitoring - cost, benefit, and who bears each

- Model what a national Indian injury database would require, and what it might change

- Interview stewards, trainers, veterinarians and insurers, and write up honestly what they say - including where they disagree with us





Requirements

- MBA candidate, or equivalent, with an interest in sport, animal welfare or regulated industries

- Comfortable with data and with building a case from incomplete evidence

- Able to interview senior people and report what they actually said

- Interest in horses helps; respect for them is required

- Willing to travel to race centres and spend time at the track
