POSITION MBBS Resident Medical Officer (RMO) – ICU
QUALIFICATION
- MBBS from a recognized medical college
- Valid NMC / Maharashtra Medical Council Registration
Experience
- ICU experience is mandatory
- Candidates with hands-on Critical Care / Emergency experience will be preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage ICU patients under the guidance of the treating Consultant
- Conduct initial patient assessment and regular clinical examination
- Monitor vital signs, investigations and treatment response
- Assist in managing critically ill and emergency patients
- Provide initial stabilization and emergency management
- Assist Consultants during ICU rounds, procedures and emergency interventions
- Monitor patients on ventilator and other critical-care support
- Identify deterioration in patient condition and promptly escalate to the concerned Consultant
- Coordinate with Intensivists, Physicians, nursing staff and other hospital departments
- Ensure timely investigations, medication and treatment as advised
- Maintain accurate ICU case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions and clinical documentation
- Provide proper shift handover and communicate important patient updates
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety and hospital clinical protocols
Required Skills
- Strong ICU and emergency-care exposure
- Good patient monitoring and clinical assessment skills
- Basic knowledge of ventilator and critical-care management
- Ability to respond promptly during emergencies
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
