About USDC
USDC is a technology staffing and consulting firm. We help companies build technology teams across AI, cloud, software engineering, cybersecurity, data, product management, and ERP, through staffing, consulting, and managed delivery teams.
Our model is practice-led. Each area is run by people who have actually worked in it, which is what lets us judge technical talent rather than keyword-matching it.
The Role
We are hiring a Marketing Manager to own demand generation at USDC.
Staffing marketing has two audiences and most firms only market to one. You will market to both: the companies who hire us, and the technologists we want in our network. The first buys on trust and proof of delivery. The second cares whether the work is interesting and whether we treat people well. The same campaign rarely serves both, and knowing when to split them is most of the judgment in this job.
You will run the marketing function day to day: campaigns, content, search, email, and the reporting that shows what any of it produced. You will work closely with sales, recruiting, and practice leads, who are your source material as much as your stakeholders. The technical credibility that differentiates us lives in their heads, and part of your job is getting it onto the page.
This is a hands-on role. You will write, build, and ship, not just plan and delegate.
What You Will Do
- Own the demand generation program end to end, from campaign design through to qualified leads handed to sales.
- Plan and run campaigns across email, search, paid, and social, and hold them to a number.
- Produce the content that carries our credibility: case studies, practice pages, thought leadership drawn from our technical leads.
- Own SEO and paid search, including the landing pages and the spend behind them.
- Build employer brand and candidate facing marketing that helps recruiting reach technologists worth reaching.
- Keep the brand voice consistent across everything we publish.
- Report on what worked. Define the metrics, track them honestly, and say plainly when a channel is not paying for itself.
- Manage the marketing calendar and whatever freelancers or agencies we bring in.
What You Will Need
- 4 to 8 years in B2B marketing, with demand generation you personally ran and can talk through in detail.
- Real fluency across digital channels: SEO, paid search, email, marketing automation, and social.
- Strong writing. You can turn a conversation with a technical lead into a case study someone finishes reading.
- Comfort with analytics. Google Analytics, CRM reporting, and enough spreadsheet ability to tell a real result from a vanity metric.
- The self-direction to run a function without a large team behind you.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing staffing, consulting, or skilled services, where the product is people.
- Enough technical literacy to write credibly about cloud, AI, data, or cybersecurity without a translator.
- Recruitment marketing or employer branding experience.
- Marketing automation platform depth, such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot.
- Experience as the first or only marketer at a growing firm.
Why This Role
You will own marketing rather than execute someone else's plan. The function is small enough that your decisions show up directly in pipeline, and the practice leads give you genuine technical substance to work with, which is more than most staffing marketers get.
