Design, execute, and own manual testing for a large scale fintech platform. You'll be the frontline quality gate crafting test cases, performing exploratory testing, logging defects, and supporting UAT with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse requirements and user stories to design comprehensive test cases
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT test cycles
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases not covered by scripted tests
- Log, track, and verify defects in the defect management system
- Collaborate with automation testers to identify positive candidates for automation
- Support UAT sessions with business users prepare test data, guide them through flows
- Participate in defect triage and root cause analysis with developers
- Maintain test case repositories and traceability matrices
Tool Stack:
- Jira and Zephyr (or qTest) for test case management and defect tracking
- Confluence for documentation
- Postman for manual API testing
- Swagger / OpenAPI to understand API specifications
- Appian to understand and navigate the application under test
