Manager – Security Services
Job Summary The Manager – Security Services supports the delivery , operation, and continuous improvement of security services from The Standard India. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day security service execution, team coordination, and operational alignment with enterprise security priorities established by the Global CISO organization. The role reports into the Director, Security Services .
This position provides local security management, operational coordination, and risk visibility for SGS India, operating as part of the enterprise Information Security function and under the direction of the Director, Security Services .
Key Responsibilities
Support security service delivery for SGS India by managing operational execution, team priorities , risk visibility, and alignment with enterprise security standards in partnership with the Director, Security Services and the Global CISO organization.
- Manage execution of enterprise security standards, processes, and service priorities within SGS India.
- Support adherence to enterprise security policies, risk management expectations, and operational control requirements.
- Coordinate day-to-day delivery for security services including IAM, security platforms, security operations, application and platform security, and third-party risk support.
- Lead, coach, and develop security engineers and analysts across SGS India.
- Monitor operational performance, service quality,
and control effectiveness against established objectives.
- Partner with U.S.-based Security and ISM teams to support secure-by-design implementation and consistent delivery practices.
- Support cybersecurity incident readiness and local response activities in coordination with U.S.
Incident
Management leadership.
- Coordinate with security vendors and embedded delivery partners operating within SGS India to support service outcomes.
- Escalate material risks, delivery issues, and resource needs through the Director, Security Services and established enterprise governance channels.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role.
Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment. Skills And Background You’ll Need Education: A B.E. / B.Tech. degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, Security Operations, or related security service delivery functions
- 3+ years of experience leading teams, workstreams, or operational security services
- Experience operating within a global enterprise or GCC model
- Working knowledge of IAM, SecOps, AppSec, security platforms, and risk management practices
- Experience communicating security priorities, risks, and operational status to stakeholders and leadership
