Purpose The role is responsible for managing SAP EWM functional support at the current operational site and leading implementation delivery to additional manufacturing units planned in CY27. The incumbent will oversee system stability, lead exception and incident resolution, manage cross-functional and vendor coordination, and drive future EWM implementation programs.

Job Responsibilities The role owns SAP EWM functional support and delivery for the current operational site, with scope planned to extend to additional manufacturing units as part of the EWM rollout program in CY27. The incumbent will be responsible for steady-state support, incident and exception management, and will lead upcoming EWM implementations - spanning requirement gathering, solution design, configuration oversight, testing, and go-live stabilization. The role requires a seasoned EWM professional who can independently manage business stakeholders, guide technical teams, and build in-house EWM capability to reduce reliance on external partners.
- Application Support & Oversight: Own day-to-day SAP EWM functional support covering core warehouse processes. Ensure incidents and exceptions are resolved within defined SLAs
- Solution Architecture & Design: Define EWM solution architecture for implementations. Own and sign off on Solution Design and FSD
- Implementation Leadership: Lead EWM rollout to manufacturing units in CY27 - covering requirement gathering, configuration oversight, SIT/UAT, cut-over, and go-live stabilization
- External System Integrations: Manage functional oversight of EWM integrations with TMS,
courier/logistics partners, serialization systems, and ASRS
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate across MM, PP, QM, and SD teams for EWM integration. Work with BASIS and ABAP teams on system changes and TR’s
- Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee external support and implementation partners. Review deliverables against quality and timeline
- Documentation & Governance: Own all functional artefacts – FSD, Configuration Documents, Test Scripts, and Cutover Plans
Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline; exposure to IT, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management preferred
- Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience spanning functional support and implementation, with at least one end-to-end EWM rollout as functional lead or co-lead
- SAP EWM Knowledge: Strong functional knowledge across core and advanced EWM capabilities. Hands-on configuration experience is essential
- ASRS Integration: Hands-on experience with EWM-ASRS integration including communication protocols, task management, and exception handling across warehouse automation touchpoints. Prior exposure to ASRS vendors and automated warehouse environments is strongly preferred
- Integration Knowledge: Valuable understanding of EWM integration with MM, PP, QM, and SD. Exposure to external integrations with TMS, courier partners, and serialization platforms preferred
• Flexibility: Willingness to adjust working hours to support sites across time zones as needed.
