Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions to protect organizational IT infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents in a timely manner.

- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.

- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.

- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.

- Manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, and SIEM platforms.

- Provide training and awareness programs to staff on network security best practices and emerging threats.

- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security incidents, risk assessments, and compliance status for senior management.

- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively enhance network defenses.

Technical Skills Required:

- Solid knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and security technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, IDS/IPS).





- Hands-on experience with network security tools such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or similar firewall and security appliances.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs, proxy servers, and network access controls.

- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.

- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS) and penetration testing methodologies.

- Understanding of encryption technologies, authentication protocols, and identity management.

- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or PCI-DSS.

- Ability to analyze network traffic and logs to detect anomalies and potential threats.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents.

- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and tools (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage security projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
