Manager – Investment Banking | Nirvaaha Consulting | Chennai

Nirvaaha Consulting is a Chennai-based consulting firm working across capital raise mandates, deal advisory, valuations, due diligence and fractional CFO services for startups, growth businesses and MNCs. We're hiring a Manager to execute live fund raising, M&A; and valuation mandates.

What you'll do:

Deal Execution

- Execute fund raising mandates (seed to growth capital) and M&A; transactions — buy-side and sell-side
- Build and maintain detailed financial models: three-statement models, projections, cap tables, dilution and returns analyses
- Perform valuations using DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions and other accepted methodologies
- Prepare investor-facing collateral — teasers, information memorandums, pitch decks, financial models and business plans
- Manage due diligence: prepare and run data rooms, respond to investor queries, and coordinate with legal, tax and financial diligence teams
- Support negotiation and closing — term sheets, SHA/SPA commercial terms, and closing checklists, alongside senior team members and legal counsel





Client and Investor Engagement

- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for founders, promoters and CFOs
- Engage with PE/VC funds, family offices, angel networks and strategic investors
- Prepare research on sectors, comparable transactions and potential investors/acquirers

Team

- Review the work of Analysts and Associates and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to internal templates, valuation frameworks and process improvements

What you bring: CA with 2–3 years post-qualification experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuations or corporate finance. Solid Excel and modelling skills, working knowledge of Companies Act / SEBI / FEMA / transaction tax, and confident written and verbal communication.
