Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the controllership function for our US entity. This role will be instrumental in establishing scalable financial processes, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, driving operational finance excellence, and supporting the company s international growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise across controllership, accounting operations, and financial governance within operations-intensive environments involving hardware, supply chain, SaaS, and multi-country financial management.

Responsibilities

- General Finance Internal Controls - Support day-to-day finance operations and ensure smooth functioning of accounting processes

- General Finance Internal Controls - Ensure adherence to internal policies, approval matrices, and financial controls

- General Finance Internal Controls - Coordinate with cross-functional teams on finance-related matters

- Book Closure, Financial Statements Consolidation - Manage timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure processes

- Book Closure, Financial Statements Consolidation - Oversee AR, AP, GL, and cash flow accounting processes

- Book Closure, Financial Statements Consolidation - Prepare MIS, Standalone PL, balance sheet, cash flow projections actuals tracking, and variance analysis

Financial Statements Consolidation - Support consolidation activities including inter-company reconciliations and eliminations

- Book Closure, Financial Statements Consolidation - Build revenue models, assist on interco cross charges, implement integrations in Dynamics 365 for inventory tracking, Inventory to FIxed assets conversion, revenue billing integrations

- Provisioning Accounting Review - Review and validate provisions for expenses, employee payroll benefits, taxes, and contingencies

- Provisioning Accounting Review - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies

- Provisioning Accounting Review - Periodically reassess provisions and manage reversals or true-ups

- Taxation Statutory Compliance - Ensure timely filing of returns tax payments

- Taxation Statutory Compliance - Exposure to USA sales tax, franchise tax, estimated tax, corporate tax returns

- Taxation Statutory Compliance - Coordinate with tax consultants on compliance matters, notices, and advisory support

- Audit Management Support - Lead and coordinate statutory tax audits, transfer pricing audits, consolidated financial statements etc

- Audit Management Support - Ensure timely resolution of audit queries and closure of action points

- Audit Management Support - Maintain audit-ready documentation and controls and usage

Requirements

- 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting and compliance roles, with experience working on US GAAP USA registered entities

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Qualified CPA (USA) with relevant experience

- Strong hands-on exposure to accounting operations, month-end closures, audits, and tax compliances.

- Experience in ERP-driven environments, with hands-on exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Quickbooks, and MIS reporting preferred.
