Overall Purpose Of The Job -

This position is responsible for the management of smooth accounting operations of the Company and ensure support to regional and local teams as per Company policies and procedures. In co-operation with the Acting Financial Controller for planning, directs, coordinates and evaluates accounting team and participates in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures and financial indicators as well as achieve all the Company accounting KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

General To ensure smooth functioning and delivery of the accounting, billing and payroll disbursement functions for all International SOS entities viz., SIP, TSI including but not limited to:

- Ensure timely and complete accounting of transactions from various sub-systems into the accounting package viz., SUN6 Systems.
- Accuracy of data in line with the budget guidelines and where there is a deviation, to resolve in consultation with Acting Financial Controller and update SUN systems accordingly.
- Management of Treasury function.
- Management of payroll, payroll tax, audit, coordination and management of banks and leasing arrangements.
- Manage general & administration expenditure to be in line with target and ensure compliance with General Affairs Policy and Procedures (GAPP) at all the times.
- Maintenance and timely update of all Fixed Asset Registers.

Accounting & Audit

- Ensure accurate and timely financial information is updated into respective ledgers in SUN Systems for all International SOS entities in India.
- Maintenance of all sub-ledgers and vouchers.
- Manage the accounting for International SOS entities in India.
- Manage Statutory and other audits by skilled firms and closure of Audit within specified times with no/limited audit entries

Treasury Management

- Maintain adequate cash flows for operational purposes.
- Request for cash from the Region and closely work with the FP&A; team to maintain adequate cash liquidity for the office.
- Forex management and compliance for FEMA and driving the process set by the Region and Corporate in relation to Treasury management from time to time.
- Assisting in the business, legal & tax compliance and consultant reviews in relation to loans, treasuring functions.
- Working with FP&A; team to ensure Working Capital KPIs are met.

Balance Sheet Management





- Ensure Balance Sheet is managed in line with accounting principles
- The Balance sheet is clean, and Inter-companies are always reconciled.
- Adequate accruals and provisions are being maintained in line with accounting principles.
- Periodic Balance Sheet audit is done.

Financial Control Standard

- Ensure compliance to General Affairs Policy and Procedures (GAPP) for International SOS, India.
- Ensure compliance of accounting/reporting in line with Group requirements.

Tax

- Direct Tax

Handling of various tax assessments (incl Transfer Pricing) and response for all statutory notices Working with Corporate/Regional office to ensure corporate tax optimization planning

Submission of various Income Tax & WHT returns in conjunction with the consultants

- Indirect Tax

Submission of Tax returns as statutorily required Working with consultants to address tax queries and response to notices, if any
- Advice on the implications and issues relating to business taxes e.g. withholding tax etc.

Corporate Secretarial

- To record Board Meeting and AGM minutes and other secretarial records for all Indian Entities
- Other Duties
- To ensure compliance to the Finance & Accounting Standards of practice.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager.
- To work within and promote all Intl SOSs policies and procedures.

Required Work Experience

- 7-10 years of post qualification work experience with minimum 2-3 years in managerial capacity.
- Worked in MNC environment.
- Knowledge of SUN6 Systems (Preferred);

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant.

Required Languages

- English and local language (usually Hindi).
- Travel / Rotation Requirements (Brief description of any travel or rotation requirements)
- Moderate; willingness to travel at short notice.
