- Currently holding the designation of Coding Manager / equivalent leadership role and eligible to apply for this position.
- Confirmed employee with minimum 10 years of relevant coding experience, including significant experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Should not have been under PIP/EDR in FY 2023-24 or received any disciplinary warnings (verbal or written).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Robust people-management, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Provide strategic leadership and operational direction for the coding team to ensure achievement of productivity, quality, accuracy, and client-specific targets.
- Possess extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding, with strong expertise in ED-Pro, ED-Pro & Fac coding, and working knowledge of Urgent Care (Office Visits) and Observation coding.
- Ensure the team maintains a high level of coding accuracy and compliance with client requirements, billing regulations, and industry standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in coding applications such as Codify and Express, and ensure effective utilization of available coding tools and resources.
- Lead and monitor coding research, data analysis, and validation to support product functionalities, coding rules, and client requirements.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to test coding functionalities, validate system enhancements, and provide actionable feedback based on client requirements.
- Drive the maintenance and periodic updates of supporting product functions, ensuring alignment with coding guidelines and business requirements.




- Identify and evaluate the need for data and configuration changes based on client requirements, billing regulations, coding updates, and industry changes.
- Ensure timely implementation of annual, quarterly, and other periodic coding updates in line with client requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor team performance through key metrics such as productivity, quality, turnaround time, adherence, and compliance, and take corrective actions where required.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement, automation, standardization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, feedback, and development discussions with team members.
- Lead and facilitate coding trainings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and refresher programs for coding teams and stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on complex coding scenarios, escalations, and client-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Training, Product, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
- Support client/internal audits and ensure timely closure of quality findings, compliance observations, and action items.
- Prepare and present operational reports, performance dashboards, business updates, and improvement initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
- Effectively manage team capacity, resource allocation, workload distribution, and operational priorities.
- Ensure all team members understand and adhere to organizational policies, coding guidelines, client requirements, and compliance standards without deviations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, presentation, listening, analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
