Role Description The Manager CAD (Jewellery) will oversee and manage the end-to-end CAD design function, ensuring that digital designs accurately translate into manufacturable fine jewellery collections aligned with Keemti’s brand vision. This full-time, in office role is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and involves leading a CAD design team, setting workflows, and maintaining design quality and efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing detailed 3D models, collaborating closely with product development, manufacturing, merchandising, and retail teams,



and ensuring feasibility for production in gold and 925 silver with lab grown diamonds.

The Manager CAD will coordinate with suppliers and internal manufacturing units to resolve technical design issues, optimize designs for cost and durability, and support new collection launches across online and physical channels. The role also includes maintaining CAD libraries, standardizing design templates, mentoring team members, and contributing to innovation in design processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in jewellery-focused CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or equivalent) and 3D modeling for fine jewellery.
- Proven experience in translating design concepts into production-ready CAD files, including setting, mounting, and metal weight optimization.
- Solid understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, casting, stone setting, finishing, and quality standards for gold and 925 silver.
- Familiarity with working specifically with lab grown diamonds, including technical considerations for design, durability, and aesthetics.
- Experience managing or leading a CAD design team, including workflow planning, delegation, and performance oversight.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as designers, merchandisers, production, and retail teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to review and correct complex CAD models.
