Mart Manager / Store Manager – Alfa 9 Mart

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Mart Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of Alfa 9 Mart. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the complete store operations, coordinating with suppliers, handling inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth and efficient store functioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the mart.
- Ensure the store is properly organized, clean, and well-maintained.
- Handle supplier/vendor communication and negotiations.
- Coordinate with suppliers for product orders, deliveries, pricing, and availability.
- Monitor inventory and ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Check incoming stock and maintain proper records.
- Monitor product expiry dates and minimize stock wastage.
- Manage product pricing, display, and shelf arrangement.
- Supervise and manage store employees and assign daily responsibilities.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and overall performance.
- Handle customer queries and resolve day-to-day customer issues professionally.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, cash handling, and store performance.
- Maintain proper records of purchases, sales, inventory, and suppliers.




- Identify fast-moving and slow-moving products and take appropriate action.
- Ensure company policies and store procedures are properly followed.
- Take responsibility for the overall smooth functioning of the mart.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supermarket, grocery store, retail, or mart management preferred.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deal confidently with suppliers and vendors.
- Solid inventory and stock management skills.
- Basic knowledge of billing, sales, and daily store reporting.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Ability to take responsibility and make day-to-day operational decisions.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Should be responsible, punctual, organized, and trustworthy.
- Candidates with experience in managing a supermarket/mart will be preferred.

What We Expect The ideal candidate should be capable of taking full responsibility for the day-to-day management of Alfa 9 Mart, including staff, inventory, suppliers, customers, and overall store operations. Salary: ₹20,000 In-Hand per month
