About the Company:

A leading German MNC group with a global presence across 5 countries, specializing in manufacturing synthetic filaments. We are a well-established manufacturing unit located in Verna Industrial Estate, Goa.

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Lead / Maintenance Manager from a monofilament / plastic / extrusion industry background. The role involves handling end-to-end mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, leading maintenance operations, minimizing downtime, and improving plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans for plant machinery and utilities
- Lead mechanical breakdown resolution and ensure quick, effective troubleshooting
- Oversee repair and maintenance of critical systems like extruders, winders, cutters, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, etc.
- Setup, lead and manage the maintenance team and coordinate with production and other departments
- Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and Govt./municipal authorities for coordination and compliance
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components




- Represent maintenance department in ISO and customer audits
- Ensure safety compliance, conduct inspections, and maintain service logs & documentation
- Drive continuous process improvement by creating SOPs for energy conservation and system optimization

Candidate Requirements:

- Education: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
- Experience: 8-10 years in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in monofilament / plastic / extrusion / molding industry
- Technical Skills: Robust expertise in mechanical systems, equipment diagnostics, and maintenance tools. Hands-on knowledge of extruders and molding machines
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, team coordination, and communication
- Must be willing to work in shifts and extend working hours/weekends during emergencies
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing plant

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
