Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, in office role based at AAR Resort & Spa in Dehradun. This role is responsible for performing routine inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and carrying out repairs on equipment, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Daily tasks include responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all systems operate safely and efficiently.

The technician will collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime, maintain cleanliness and safety standards in work areas, and keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of tools and supplies.



This position supports the overall guest experience by maintaining a well-functioning and visually appealing environment.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for hospitality or similar facilities.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life.
- Background in Industrial Maintenance or building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of safety standards, tools, and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, work orders, and basic technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, preferably in hospitality or commercial facilities.
- Relevant vocational training, technical certification, or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or building maintenance is an advantage.
