Shift: Rotational Shifts

Job Purpose To operate and monitor chocolate manufacturing and packing machines safely and efficiently while maintaining production, quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor chocolate production/packing machines as per SOP.
- Perform machine start-up, shutdown, changeover, and basic adjustments.
- Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, speed, pressure, and product weight.
- Check product quality and report abnormalities immediately.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with the Maintenance team for breakdowns.
- Maintain production records, machine logbooks, and shift handover details.
- Carry out machine cleaning and ensure the work area is maintained properly.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene,



and PPE requirements.
- Prevent product contamination and minimize production wastage.
- Follow all plant safety procedures while working with machinery.
- Support production targets and maintain smooth line operation.
- Work effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and mechanical systems.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of GMP and food safety.
- Good discipline and teamwork.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Preferred Candidates
- ITI – Fitter / Mechanical / Electrical.
- Diploma – Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics.
- Candidates with FMCG, food, confectionery, or chocolate manufacturing experience will be preferred.
- Freshers with valuable technical knowledge can also be considered.
