Role Overview As a Technical Expert - M365 Exchange within the Communication &

- Collaboration IT Service Center, you will lead the technical configuration, maintenance, and migration from a legacy custom-built messaging system to Exchange Online. This role balances hands-on engineering, automation, tier-2/3 incident resolution, and project delivery to ensure secure, resilient enterprise communication for Colruyt Group.

Key Responsibilities

- Build &
- Cloud Migration

: Lead technical execution for Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange (Exchange Server SE). Automate provisioning, lifecycle workflows, and M365 integrations using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.

- Operations &

- Lifecycle Management

: Design and execute operational support models. Perform release testing, proactive monitoring, patch management, and KPI reporting to drive continuous platform optimization.

- Incident &

- Tier 2/3 Support

: Act as high-level technical escalation for messaging issues. Conduct root-cause analysis, mail security investigations, and structural remediations within established SLAs/SLEs.

- Change &

- Knowledge Management

: Author operational documentation, build internal knowledge bases, and execute system changes with concrete rollback strategies. Elevate team expertise through structured knowledge sharing.





- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with IT architects, system engineers, security teams, and business product owners to align messaging capabilities with enterprise architecture goals.

Technical Requirements

- Experience: 7+ years in Enterprise System Engineering, specializing in M365 and Exchange architecture.

- Messaging Core: Deep expertise in Exchange Online, Exchange Server SE, hybrid coexistence, and enterprise migration strategies.

- Mail Flow &
- Security

: Mastery of SMTP routing, connectors, transport rules, message traces, and authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

- Automation: Advanced PowerShell scripting for administration, reporting, and Microsoft Graph API integration.

- Adjacent Tech: Working knowledge of Azure Communication Services (ACS) and broad M365 ecosystem integrations.
