- Import Documentation: Draft and verify critical shipping documentation, including Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Export Value Declarations, Bills of Lading (B/L), and Shipping Bills.
Customs
Compliance &
- CHA Coordination: Assign correct HS Codes, handle customs formalities, and coordinate closely with Custom House Agents (CHA) for seamless export/import clearances.
Domestic
Operations &
- E-Way Bills: Generate E-Way Bills, manage door-to-port inland transport logistics within India, and coordinate specialized/seaworthy packing requirements with factory teams.
Shipment
Tracking &
- Reporting: Monitor container movements daily, update tracking data, and generate day-to-day goods status reports for internal management and client-side logistics teams.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for client logistics representatives, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport vendors to ensure on-time delivery and minimize demurrage/detention costs.
Requirements &
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Trade. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, capital equipment, or heavy engineering export/import logistics. Deep knowledge of Indian customs procedures, ICEGATE, HS Code classification, INCOTERMS, and port clearance workflows. Solid proficiency in MS Excel/ERP software and excellent communication skills for client and vendor coordination.
