Join the brand new Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience Lab at GITAM university in Visakhapatnam. I am looking for a motivated, hard-working and curious individual to join our team in a Laboratory/Project Assistant position funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India and support our ongoing work to identify fundamental mechanisms in synapse biology with potential translational outcomes. We apply biochemical, molecular, imaging and electrophysiological approaches in cultured rat neurons.

As a Laboratory/Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our lab. This position involves working both independently and collaboratively with other researchers to carry out experiments and support lab upkeep.
The position is for 2 years including a probation period of 3 months and with future possibility for joining the GITAM PhD program.
The candidate will join a young and vibrant research group with access to state-of-the-art facilities and chance to advance our mechanistic understanding of epilepsy and other neurological disorders arising from neuronal hyperexcitability.
