Agonda Palm Beach Resort is looking for hardworking and reliable Kitchen Utility / Dishwasher Staff to join our beachfront restaurant, The Rolling Sea, in Agonda, South Goa.
Significant – Seasonal Position
This is a seasonal position and not year-round employment.
Our resort operates during Goa's tourist season, generally from September/October until the end of May or beginning of June, after which the resort closes during the monsoon period.
Good performers may be given the opportunity to return for the following season, depending on requirements and mutual agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen utensils
- Keeping the dishwashing and utility area clean and organised
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls and work areas
- Cleaning kitchen equipment as instructed
- Properly disposing of kitchen waste and garbage
- Assisting with receiving and arranging kitchen supplies
- Helping with basic kitchen cleaning and preparation when required
- Supporting chefs and kitchen helpers during busy service
- Following hygiene,
sanitation and food-safety standards
- Ensuring clean utensils and equipment are available during service
- Carrying out opening and closing cleaning duties
- Assisting the kitchen team wherever required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel or resort kitchen is preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
- Hardworking, punctual and reliable
- Able to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Willing to work during busy service periods
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable with seasonal employment in Goa
