SIKAO , a contemporary design gallery in Mumbai, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team from September 2026.
This is a hands-on role for someone interested in contemporary design, artists' practices, and the workings of a gallery. The position will involve a mix of artist relations, logistics, project coordination, and backend sales coordination .
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with artists, designers, and artisans
- Coordinating installations and logistics
- Managing inventory records and gallery documentation
- Managing artist contracts
- Ensuring deliverables from artists and maintaining deadlines
- Supporting exhibitions, fairs, and gallery operations
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Has proficiency with spreadsheets and administrative systems
- Has an interest in contemporary design, art, architecture, or related fields
- Previous gallery, design, arts, or creative industry experience is a plus
Location: Mumbai Work Arrangement: Full time at Cuffe Parade, Mumbai office
