Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer with experience in Recent Product Development (NPD) and Value Engineering (VAVE) . The candidate will work on industrial AC controls, control panels, embedded electronics, product redesign, cost reduction, prototyping, testing, and engineering releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Support NPD and VAVE/cost-reduction projects from concept through release.
- Perform circuit, wiring, BOM, component, and cost analysis.
- Work with 230/240 VAC single-phase and basic 3-phase electrical systems .
- Support selection of motors, contactors, relays, overloads, fuses, breakers, transformers, and drives.
- Design and troubleshoot control panels, wiring, harnesses, relays, solenoids, and interlocks .
- Support microcontroller-based embedded hardware , including analog/digital circuits, sensors, power supplies, and communication interfaces.
- Work with interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, RS-485, and USB .
- Perform schematic design/review, PCB review, prototype assembly, board bring-up, testing, measurement,



and debugging .
- Identify alternate components, wiring simplification, PCB/panel optimization, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and update schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, test reports, and ECO/ECN documentation .
- Support DFMEA, DVP&R;, electrical safety, EMC/ESD, verification, and compliance activities.
- Work with Mechanical, Firmware, Validation, Manufacturing, and other engineering teams.

Required Skills

- 3–7 years of relevant Electrical/Electronics/Industrial Controls experience.
- Hands-on experience in both NPD and VAVE/cost reduction .
- Good knowledge of AC electrical systems and industrial controls.
- Working knowledge of embedded hardware and microcontroller circuits.
- Experience with schematic design and PCB fundamentals.
- Altium Designer is mandatory.
- Hands-on ability in wiring, soldering, testing, measurement, debugging, harness fabrication, and PCBA rework.
- Knowledge of BOM analysis, DFM, DFMEA, design-to-cost, and structured problem solving.
- Exposure to UL, FM, NFPA, IEC, FCC or similar standards is an advantage.
