Position: Junior Engineer – Mechanical (Quality Inspection – Castings)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to support our Quality team in the inspection and quality control of castings. The candidate will be responsible for visual and dimensional inspection at various stages of production, maintaining inspection records, and supporting R3 and export-related quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of castings during in-process and final inspection stages.
- Check castings for defects such as cracks, blow holes, porosity, surface defects, etc.
- Perform dimensional inspection as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Handle and use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and specifications.




- Maintain inspection reports, quality records and documentation.
- Support R3 / customer quality requirements and export inspection activities.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams regarding quality issues and corrective actions.
- Ensure inspection instruments are properly handled and maintained.
- Prepare basic reports using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Communicate inspection results through email and maintain proper documentation.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements and standard operating practices.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of casting inspection and quality control.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good email and computer operating skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/plant workplace.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
