About the Company

This role will primarily support Messina Madrid Global, with limited and targeted support for Messina Madrid Law, P.A., a Miami-based law firm, on related cross-border matters.

About the Role

As a Business/Corporate Lawyer, you will play a central role in managing MMG’s global lawyer partner network. Your work will focus on contracts, partner coordination, and structured research on immigration systems and visa categories worldwide. You will work closely with U.S.-based leadership and legal teams, gaining direct exposure to senior decision-makers and international partners.

The role is remote for now and is expected to transition to a hybrid model over time.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and manage contracts with global lawyer partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for international partner lawyers.
- Handle ongoing communication, coordination, and issue resolution with partners.
- Support onboarding, documentation, and operational compliance of partner law firms.
- Research immigration laws, visa categories, and global mobility frameworks across major jurisdictions, including the U.S., U.K., E.U., Canada, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Prepare internal research notes, jurisdictional comparisons, and client-facing summaries.
- Track immigration law updates and regulatory changes relevant to global mobility.




- Provide limited legal support to the U.S. law firm on cross-border and mobility-related matters.

U.S. Law Firm Exposure – Messina Madrid Law, P.A.

In addition to the core global mobility work, you will receive hands-on exposure in a paralegal capacity with Messina Madrid Law, P.A. (“MML”) across the firm’s core practice areas, including:

- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;)
- Corporate Law
- Tax Law (U.S. domestic and international)
- Contracts and Commercial Transactions
- Estate Planning
- Cross-Border Transactions

Representative duties in this capacity may include:
- Preparing legal memoranda and internal research notes under attorney supervision.
- Drafting and reviewing M&A; transaction documents, including term sheets, purchase agreements, and ancillary documents.
- Supporting M&A; due diligence, including document review, organization of data rooms, and preparation of due diligence summaries and issue lists.
- Assisting with entity formation, corporate governance documents, resolutions, and written consents.
- Supporting the preparation of tax analyses, filings, and client-facing summaries on cross-border matters.
- Assisting with estate planning document packages and related client deliverables.
- Maintaining transaction checklists, closing sets,



and matter documentation.

This exposure offers a rare opportunity to build substantive U.S. legal experience across transactional, tax, and private-client practice areas while working from India.

Required Qualifications

- Law degree from a recognized university in India.
- One to five (1–3) years of experience in contracts, corporate law, or international legal work.
- Strong contract drafting and review skills.
- Excellent English proficiency (mandatory).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (mandatory).
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
- Comfort working with international teams across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience or demonstrated interest in immigration law or global mobility.
- Prior work with international clients or cross-border legal matters.
- Exposure to start-ups, legal operations, or quick-growth environments.
