Position Overview The Jr.
Project Control Engineer
Aviation shall report to the Sr.
Project Control
Manager and support planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, cost tracking control, forecasting, risk management, and reporting activities associated with the development of airport infrastructure projects, including passenger terminals, airside works, landside infrastructure, cargo facilities, utilities, support buildings, and airport systems. The role shall assist in maintaining integrated project schedules, monitoring project performance metrics, coordinating progress updates from multidisciplinary stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate project reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain integrated project schedules for airport development projects using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Support preparation and updating of baseline schedules,
detailed work programmes, recovery schedules and look-ahead plans.
- Conduct schedule variance analysis and support impact assessments for changes, delays and recovery measures.
- Monitor project progress against approved baselines and consolidate progress inputs from multidisciplinary project teams.
- Track key milestones, interfaces, testing commissioning activities and handover targets.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, KPI summaries and management reports.
- Support cost tracking, forecasting, Earned Value Management and project performance reporting.
- Monitor physical versus financial progress and identify deviations, risks and mitigation requirements.
- Maintain risk registers, change logs, action trackers and other project control records.
- Review contractor and consultant schedules, progress reports, resource deployment plans and recovery programmes.
- Validate reported progress against actual site achievements and monitor contractor productivity.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely progress updates and interface resolution.
- Maintain project schedules, databases, reporting systems and project control documentation.
- Support implementation of digital project controls, dashboard reporting and data analytics tools.
- Ensure compliance with project controls procedures, reporting requirements and timely submission of project control deliverables

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Certification or training in Primavera P6, MS Project, PMP or equivalent Project Management methodologies will be an advantage.
- Overall 10-15 years of experience in Project Controls, Planning, Scheduling, and Cost Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation projects involving airport terminals, airside works, landside infrastructure, cargo facilities, utilities, support buildings, and airport systems.
- Demonstrated experience in development and management of integrated project schedules, project reporting systems and progress monitoring frameworks.
- Experience in coordination with consultants, contractors, specialist airport system vendors, and client organizations.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), risk management, forecasting techniques, and schedule performance analysis
