JUNIOR ARCHITECT – MUMBAI

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Architect with 1–2 years of professional experience to join our Mumbai studio of an international architectural practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural design, good technical and graphical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. The role provides an opportunity to work on large-scale and diverse architectural projects while developing skills in design, documentation, BIM and emerging digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Project Architect / Senior Architect in developing architectural designs from concept through design development and documentation.
- Prepare architectural drawings, presentations, diagrams, layouts and design development material.
- Develop and maintain architectural models and drawings using Autodesk Revit .
- Assist in the preparation of working drawings, details, schedules and technical documentation .
- Support coordination of architectural information with structural, MEP, interior, landscape and specialist consultants.
- Assist with preparation of design presentations, including SketchUp models, visualisations, material boards and presentations .
- Participate in design and coordination meetings and assist in resolving design and technical issues.
- Maintain project drawings, models and documentation in accordance with office and project standards.
- Assist senior team members in ensuring accuracy, quality and timely completion of project deliverables.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adopt BIM, AI and other emerging architectural technologies .

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Arch. or equivalent recognised architectural qualification.
- 1–2 years of professional architectural experience .
- Positive understanding of architectural design principles, planning and technical documentation.
- Good design,



presentation and graphic communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative architectural team.

Revit / BIM Skills Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential.

Candidates should have experience or exposure to:

- Architectural BIM modelling
- Developing plans, sections, elevations and details in Revit
- Producing drawings and documentation from Revit models
- Basic multidisciplinary coordination
- BIM project standards and model organisation

Knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or other BIM coordination platforms will be an advantage.

AI & Digital Skills The practice is actively exploring AI and emerging digital technologies to enhance architectural design and project delivery. Candidates with an interest or basic experience in AI-assisted architectural design, image generation, visualisation, rendering, design research, presentation production or workflow automation will be preferred.

A willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to evolving digital workflows is highly valued.
