Kirti Textiles is a saree-focused textile company specializing in premium and fashion-forward saree fabrics. We are looking for a creative and experienced Jacquard Saree Designer who can develop unique, intricate, and commercially viable Jacquard designs specifically for saree fabrics.

About the Role

We are looking for a Jacquard Saree Designer with hands-on experience in saree fabric designing and woven textile development.

This is not a plain textile, digital printing, or surface pattern designing role. The candidate must have a strong understanding of woven Jacquard designs, motifs, textures, repeats, borders, pallus, layouts, and fabric construction.

The ideal candidate should be able to take a concept or reference and develop it into a technically accurate, production-ready Jacquard design.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Jacquard patterns specifically for saree fabrics.
- Create unique and intricate motifs, buttas, all-over patterns, borders, and pallu designs.
- Develop contemporary, traditional, and premium-looking Jacquard saree designs.
- Create design repeats, layouts, and placements suitable for saree weaving.
- Develop designs that are technically suitable for production and weaving.
- Work closely with weaving and manufacturing teams for sampling and product development.
- Modify and refine designs based on fabric samples, weaving results, and production requirements.
- Research current saree, fashion,



and textile trends and translate them into commercially appealing designs.
- Develop and maintain a strong collection of exclusive Jacquard saree designs.
- Ensure designs maintain the desired balance of aesthetics, detailing, technical feasibility, and commercial appeal.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience in Jacquard saree designing is mandatory.
- 3 years of relevant Jacquard/Saree Textile Design experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of Jacquard weaving and woven textile development.
- Practical experience with saree borders, pallus, motifs, buttas, and all-over patterns.
- Strong understanding of colours, textures, repeats, proportions, and fabric structures.
- Ability to convert references and creative concepts into production-ready Jacquard designs.
- Strong creative sense with an eye for premium, intricate, and detailed designs.
- Understanding of weaving and production requirements.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with weaving and manufacturing teams.

Mandatory Software Knowledge

Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with both NedGraphics and Adobe Photoshop is mandatory.

The candidate must be able to independently use the software for:

- Jacquard design development
- Motif and butta creation




- Design repeats and layouts
- Saree border and pallu development
- Colour development and variations
- Editing and refining textile designs
- Preparing designs suitable for Jacquard weaving and production

Candidates without practical knowledge of both NedGraphics and Adobe Photoshop will not be considered for this position.

- Previous Jacquard collections

Salary: Competitive and based on experience, technical expertise, and skill level.
