The Senior Software Engineer for x360Sync is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the macOS desktop agent application that keeps critical business data in sync for thousands of customers. Working in C++, Swift, and Objective-C, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional engineering team to deliver reliable, high-quality software — from feature development through to production support. This role requires strong technical depth, transparent communication, and a genuine care for the end-user experience.
About the Role
You will be a senior engineer on the x360Sync team at ConnectWise, owning development of the macOS agent — a native desktop application at the heart of the x360Sync backup and file sync product. The application is primarily written in C++, with Swift and Objective-C used for macOS-native components. You will be stepping into a mature codebase with real ownership and scope from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain features in the x360Sync macOS agent,
working primarily in C++ with Swift and Objective-C for platform-native integrations
- Debug and resolve production issues, including deep-dive investigation across the application stack and macOS system APIs
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing technical recommendations grounded in macOS platform best practices
- Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews — both giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule without cutting corners on quality
- Contribute to improving engineering standards, internal tooling, and development processes
- Help scope and break down complex problems into well-defined tasks for yourself and the broader team
- Document technical decisions, system behavior, and processes clearly for teammates and future contributors
