Role Description The IT Manager role at GEDU Global Education is a full time, on-site position based in Manesar, Gurugram. The IT Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, end-user devices, and cloud services, ensuring stable and secure operations across the institution. This role will manage the IT support team, coordinate helpdesk activities, and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

The IT Manager will collaborate with academic and administrative stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs in educational institutions, manage vendors, and supervise procurement and deployment of hardware and software. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance,



enforcing cybersecurity policies, managing data backups and recovery plans, documenting IT processes, and contributing to IT strategy, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in IT infrastructure and operations, such as network administration, server management, hardware deployment, and cloud-based services for educational institutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in cybersecurity and data protection, including access control, threat monitoring, backup and recovery, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in IT service management, including helpdesk operations, incident and problem management, asset management, and vendor coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in systems implementation and integration, such as deploying enterprise applications, managing upgrades, and ensuring interoperability between platforms.
- Candidates should possess strong leadership and communication skills, including team management, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and training of non-technical users.
- Relevant academic qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, Azure/AWS) are beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in managing IT environments within educational institutions or similarly complex organizations is highly advantageous.
