Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Network Engineer with 2+ years of experience to manage,

monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the organizations network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring network availability, performance, security,

and connectivity across offices, warehouses, branches, and other business locations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi,

switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, Internet connectivity, and network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Infrastructure Management

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
- Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, VPN, routers, switches, and access points.
- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and routing.
- Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth utilization, and connectivity.
- Ensure network infrastructure is maintained as per defined standards.

1. Network Troubleshooting & Support

• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, packet loss, and performance issues.
- Diagnose LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi-related problems.
- Troubleshoot switch ports, network cables, access points, and Internet connectivity.
- Handle network incidents and service requests within defined SLA.
- Provide L1/L2 network support to users and business locations.
- Escalate complex issues to senior network engineers or technology partners.

1. Firewall & Security

• Provide basic administration and troubleshooting support for firewalls.
- Assist in firewall rule implementation under approved change procedures.
- Monitor VPN connectivity and troubleshoot remote-access issues.




- Support network security best practices, including access control and segmentation.
- Ensure unauthorized network access is identified and escalated.

1. Internet & ISP Management

• Monitor primary and secondary Internet connections.
- Coordinate with ISP/service providers for Internet outages and connectivity issues.
- Track ISP incidents and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain records of Internet circuits, bandwidth, IP addresses, and service details.
- Support Internet link implementation for new offices, warehouses, and locations.

1. Wi-Fi Management

• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise Wi-Fi access points.
- Troubleshoot SSID, authentication, coverage, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor Wi-Fi performance and identify coverage-related problems.
- Support deployment and configuration of wireless infrastructure.

1. Network Monitoring & Documentation

• Monitor network devices using network monitoring tools.
- Maintain network diagrams, IP address records, device inventory, and configuration documentation.
- Maintain network configuration backups.
- Prepare periodic network health and availability reports.
- Identify recurring network issues and recommend permanent solutions.

1. Project & Site Deployment Support





• Support network setup for new offices, warehouses, branches, and expansion locations.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for network implementation.
- Validate network connectivity after installation.
- Perform network device installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Conduct site-level network health checks and preventive maintenance.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Positive knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT and routing.
- Hands-on experience with managed network switches.
- Working knowledge of routers and enterprise Wi-Fi.
- Basic knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of VPN technologies.
- Basic firewall troubleshooting and administration.
- Good understanding of network troubleshooting tools such as:

- Ping
- Traceroute
- Nslookup
- Telnet
- IPConfig
- Wireshark

• Knowledge of network monitoring tools is preferred.
- Basic understanding of structured cabling and fiber connectivity.

Preferred Technologies

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:
- Fortinet / FortiGate
- Cisco
- Aruba
- HPE
- Ubiquiti
- Network monitoring tools
- Enterprise Wi-Fi solutions

IT Service Management

- Experience working with IT ticketing/service management tools.
- Follow incident, request, change, and problem management processes.
- Maintain proper documentation for network incidents and changes.
- Ensure adherence to defined SLA and escalation procedures.
- Participate in planned maintenance and change activities.
