About the Role & Project

We are building and operating a web and mobile platform for a large government-sector programme. The platform brings field-level data, documents and photographs into one system, applies analytics and AI-assisted reporting, and gives officials at different levels a clear, role-based view of progress. As IT Administrator, you will be the operational backbone of this platform: you will manage user accounts and access control, keep the application and its databases running smoothly, support deployments, and act as the first point of contact for users facing issues.

You will work closely with the development team and directly with end users at the client's offices.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and manage user accounts, roles and access permissions through the platform's admin console; maintain the user list and handle onboarding/offboarding as directed.
- Monitor the health of the application, databases and servers; perform routine checks, backups and basic maintenance tasks.
- Assist with application deployments, updates and configuration on cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar), following documented procedures.
- Provide first-level support to users: understand the issue, resolve what you can, reproduce and document what you cannot, and escalate clearly to the development team.
- Investigate recurring problems: gather information from users, research possible causes and solutions, and present findings with suggested next steps.
- Maintain simple operational documentation user guides, FAQs, issue logs and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with client-side staff in English, Hindi or Telugu, including occasional user training and walkthrough sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (or equivalent practical knowledge).
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and how modern web applications are structured and built.
- Web basics: Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React at a fresher level enough to read code, understand behaviour and make minor guided changes.
- Databases: Sound fundamentals in database management and administration writing queries, managing users/permissions, backups and restores. Exposure to PostgreSQL and MongoDB expected; familiarity with other relational databases is a plus.
- Cloud: Basic understanding of how applications are deployed and hosted on AWS or similar cloud services (servers, storage, domains, monitoring).
- Good problem-solving and research skills able to investigate an unfamiliar issue methodically, survey users about problems, read documentation and arrive at practical answers.
- Languages: Explicit communication in English plus Hindi and Telugu (spoken proficiency in all three is important for day-to-day user support).

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Exposure to Linux command line, Git, or any scripting language (Python/Bash).
- Internships or academic projects involving web applications, databases or cloud services.

Role Details Experience: 02 years; freshers with the skills above are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: 3.0 – 4.5 LPA (based on skills and interview performance).

Location: On-site at the client's Head Office; occasional coordination with field locations.

Growth: Hands-on exposure to a live production system — real users, real data, real cloud infrastructure — with mentoring from the development team.
