We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications to join India CoE-Integration Engg -CAT IT Division.

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive Functional Design Documents and effectively communicate technical details to developers. This role required to support the IT function with assisting in areas like development, testing and implementing application systems.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore.

What you will do

- Work on Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Applications 12.2 and Oracle database 19c. Support Oracle EBS on 19c database with multitenant architecture.
- Manage RHEL OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System) virtualized environment. Support EBS environment cloning.
- Implement and administrate TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.2 certificates for Oracle EBS for end-to-end encryption for all backend (behind the load balancer) services in an Oracle EBS deployment.
- Work on WebLogic/Fusion Middleware administration.
- Administrate ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) and Oracle ECC (Enterprise Command Centre).
- Handle Oracle Apex (Application Express), Bash scripting and automation.
- Manage EBS full stack security patching. Configure administration and register OAM (Oracle Access Manager) and OID (Oracle Internet Directory) for single EBS sign-on.
- Design HA (highly available) architectures and DR (disaster recovery) plans.
- Manage Data Guard setup and administration.
- Handle RMAN backup and configuration.
- Manage Oracle Database performance with tuning Full knowledge of Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster) technology with ability to administer and support.
- Handle Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager).
- Mentors others to enhance their technical competence and its application to achieve more effective technical solutions.
- Coaches others in promoting, defining, analyzing, and providing superior technical solutions to business problems.
- Provides effective solutions to moderate technical challenges through solid technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build fundamental architecture of operating systems,



database management systems, communications protocols, compilers and other development tools.

Education Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Experience Requirements

4-6 years of experience in Oracle DBA and Application DBA or related occupation.

Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with:

- Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Applications 12.2 for general application support
- Supporting Oracle EBS on 19c database with multitenant architecture
- RHEL OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System) virtualized environment
- EBS environment cloning for general support and awareness of EBS technology stack
- ADOP (Application DBA Online Patching) cycle in EBS to apply patches to EBS

- Bash scripting and automation
- EBS full stack security patching to maintain security patching standards within enterprise
- Configuring, administering and registering OAM (Oracle Access Manager) and OID (Oracle Internet Directory) for single EBS sign-on to allow user access to EBS environments for single sign-on
- Implementing and administering TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.2 certificates for Oracle EBS for end-to-end encryption for backend (behind the load balancer) services in an Oracle EBS deployment
- WebLogic/Fusion Middleware administration

- Knowledge of the process of creating and managing a cloud computing system consisting of hardware, virtualization, storage, and networking components; ability to utilize related tools and technologies to develop cloud solutions.
- This position requires candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule from 1pm to 10 pm IST in the office.
