JOB ROLE:International Sales Manager (USA & Europe)

TYPE OF ROLE:Individual Contributor Role

LOCATION:Corporate Office, Mumbai.

BU / DIVISION:Exports

JOB PURPOSE To support the international sales team in the Sales and marketing of Bajaj products in the overseas markets (specific region).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Market Expansion

- Drive the Europe expansion plan in line with the organization's business objectives and growth strategy.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across conventional distribution channels, large retail chains, online retailers, TV commerce channels, and OEM partnerships.
- Build business from a zero-base by exploring new products, channels, and market opportunities.
- Independently travel across international markets to identify, develop, and convert business opportunities.

Market Research &

Intelligence

- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify market potential, customer requirements, channel opportunities, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
- Monitor competitive landscape and provide market intelligence for the development of recent product categories and business opportunities.
- Stay abreast of consumer, retail, and category trends across Europe and North America.

Product Development & Innovation
- Collaborate with Product and R&D; teams to conceptualize and drive new product development (NPD) initiatives suited to European and North American markets.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to support product innovation and portfolio enhancement.
- Support development of products under own brand, OEM, and private label business models.

Compliance & Retail

Readiness

- Ensure products meet international regulatory, quality, and retailer compliance standards, including:

a. Product Certifications: CE, RoHS, UL, FDA, and other applicable regulations. b. Product Testing & Validation: TV, Intertek, BVQI, and equivalent testing agencies.

c. Packaging Compliance: REACH and related packaging standards.





d. Social & Factory Compliance: SEDEX, SA8000, BSCI, and similar standards.

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely compliance and market readiness.

Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, online platforms, OEM customers, and key accounts.
- Address customer concerns and complaints effectively, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and drive profitable business growth.

Trade Marketing & Industry Representation
- Represent the organization at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Identify new business prospects, market trends, and partnership opportunities through active participation in industry forums.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Graduation / B.E./ BTech (any) + MBA / PGDM (International Business, Marketing)

WORK EXPERIENCE

6-7 years of experience (overall) in various sales formats. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in international sales in Consumer durable, FMCG
