Role Overview-

Lead end-to-end Preboarding, Onboarding, and Background Verification (BGV) operations across Europe, US, Canada, Mexico, and APAC (Japan etc.). Drive a compliant, seamless, and experience-led onboarding journey with robust governance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

Role & responsibilities

1. Global HR Operations Delivery
- Own end-to-end Preboarding, Onboarding & BGV processes across international geographies
- Ensure timely, compliant, and seamless employee entry experience
- Balance global standardization with local regulatory requirements

2. Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Geo HRBPs, Hiring Managers
- Act as SPOC for onboarding/BGV escalations and resolution
- Ensure alignment on joining readiness, documentation, and timelines

3. Team & People Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of HR operations specialists
- Drive capacity planning, productivity, and SLA adherence
- Build a high-performance, service-driven team culture

4. BGV & Compliance Management (Enhanced)




- Own end-to-end BGV governance across regions (initiation adjudication closure)
- Ensure strict compliance with global & local regulations: GDPR (Europe), data privacy laws (US/Canada), country-specific labor laws
- Define and enforce BGV policies, adjudication frameworks, and risk thresholds
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive personal data and consent management

5. Vendor & Risk Governance
- Manage BGV vendors across geographies
- Track TAT, quality, compliance adherence, cost, and SLAs
- Mitigate risks through exception handling, escalation frameworks, and controls

6. System Adoption & Digital Enablement
- Drive adoption of HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors)
- Ensure data integrity, workflow automation, and process digitization
- Partner with HR Tech to enhance onboarding and BGV workflows

7. Employee Experience
- Deliver a consistent, engaging onboarding journey from Offer Documentation and release up to 90 days of Joining
