Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Bakery Chef to manage our bakery production operations. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and producing a variety of bakery products while maintaining consistent taste, quality, hygiene, presentation, and production standards.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bakery production, good knowledge of recipes and ingredients, and the ability to manage bakery staff and daily production efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily bakery production based on sales and store requirements.
- Prepare and supervise production of bakery products such as cakes, breads, buns, cookies, puffs, pastries, biscuits and other bakery items.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, size, appearance and quality of all products.
- Follow standard recipes and maintain proper measurements and production procedures.




- Develop and improve existing bakery recipes and introduce new products when required.
- Maintain proper records of recipes, ingredient quantities, production quantities and wastage.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of raw materials such as flour, butter, sugar, cream, yeast, eggs and other ingredients.
- Coordinate with the purchase/store team to ensure timely availability of required raw materials.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of bakery ingredients and finished products.
- Supervise bakery helpers and production workers and allocate daily work.
- Train staff on proper bakery techniques, hygiene, food handling and production procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery production area, equipment and utensils.
- Ensure proper operation, cleaning and basic maintenance of bakery machinery and equipment.
- Minimize production wastage and improve production efficiency.
