We are looking for a creative, research-driven, and performance-focused Content Strategist who can develop content strategies for multiple brands across different industries.
This is not simply a social media posting role.
You will be responsible for understanding each client's business, audience and competitors, identifying content opportunities, developing creative concepts, planning monthly content calendars, writing content directions and collaborating with designers, video editors and social media executives to execute them.
The ideal candidate understands the difference between content that simply looks good and content that actually captures attention, builds a brand and generates business results.
Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Strategy
- Develop social media strategies based on each client's business goals.
- Understand the client's target audience, positioning, competitors and offers.
- Decide appropriate content pillars and content formats for each brand.
- Develop platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook,
LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve brand awareness, engagement, leads and conversions.
2. Content Research & Ideation
- Research competitors, industry trends and successful content formats.
- Track trending Reels, hooks, topics, formats and conversations.
- Generate original content ideas rather than simply copying competitors.
- Identify educational, entertaining, authority-building and conversion-focused content opportunities.
- Turn business information into engaging social media content.
3. Content Calendar Planning
- Create structured monthly content calendars for clients.
- Plan a balanced mix of:
- Reels / short-form videos
- Static posts
- Carousels
- Stories
- Educational content
- Promotional content
- Brand-building content
- Engagement content
- Define the objective and concept behind each piece of content.
- Maintain consistency in messaging and brand position
