Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Restaurant Operations
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure smooth opening, service, and closing procedures.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Ensure the restaurant is properly staffed during all operating hours.

2. Team Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance.
- Monitor employee performance and conduct regular briefings.
- Handle staff discipline and resolve workplace issues professionally.

3. Customer Service
- Ensure excellent guest service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Collect and review customer feedback.
- Build solid relationships with regular and corporate customers.

4. Sales & Revenue
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor restaurant sales and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Promote special offers, events, and promotional activities.




- Monitor average guest spending and table turnover.

5. Cost & Inventory Control
- Control food, beverage, manpower, and operational costs.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase/store department.
- Reduce wastage, pilferage, and unnecessary expenses.
- Conduct regular inventory and stock checks.

6. Food Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor kitchen and restaurant cleanliness.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and temperature control.
- Maintain required hygiene and safety records.

7. Financial & Administrative Duties
- Monitor daily cash handling and billing procedures.
- Verify daily sales reports and cash/card/online payment settlements.
- Maintain operational records and prepare management reports.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment.
