We are looking for a Content & Social Media Intern to work closely with our Director - Product Innovation, supporting content creation, research, LinkedIn management, presentations, and engagement with retail/business networks.

What you’ll do

- Research topics and turn high-level ideas, notes, or briefs into articles, papers, blogs, and LinkedIn posts.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and repurpose content across different formats.
- Help manage the Leader's LinkedIn - content calendar, posts, articles, publishing, and engagement.
- Monitor relevant retail/business conversations and help me engage with industry networks based on my guidance.
- Research interesting retail, consumer, technology, and business trends and identify content opportunities.
- Refine PowerPoint/Google Slides presentations - structure, wording, flow, and formatting.
- Handle the day-to-day organising, formatting, research,



and other execution work needed to keep content moving.

What I’m looking for

- Strong written English and good communication skills.
- Good research and information-gathering abilities.
- Someone who can take a high-level brief and produce a positive first draft.
- Good PowerPoint/Google Slides skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media.
- Detail-oriented, organised, dependable, and willing to do hands-on execution work.
- Interest in retail, business, technology, or consumer trends is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI tools for research and drafting, while being able to edit and improve the output.

Ideal candidate

Someone who is smart, curious, a good writer, and willing to get things done. You don't need to be an expert in the retail industry; we will provide the direction, and you will help with the research, writing, preparation, publishing, and follow-through.
