Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in New Delhi.
The Interior
Designer will develop concept designs, space plans, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E;, and producing construction and working drawings in collaboration with architects and project managers. The role involves site visits to review progress, liaise with contractors and vendors, and ensure design intent and quality standards are maintained during execution.
The Interior
Designer will also support client presentations, incorporate feedback, and contribute to a cohesive design narrative for each project.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically coherent layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals and coordination with architectural teams to align interior concepts with overall building design.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and working drawings for execution and coordination with contractors.
- Experience with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, custom furniture detailing, and material and finish specifications.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar; Adobe Suite is an advantage).
- Robust visual sensibility, attention to detail, and understanding of contemporary design trends and materials.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and handle on-site coordination in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interiors is preferred.
