Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Gurugram.

The Interior

Designer will develop design concepts for residential and office projects, prepare mood boards, and create detailed layouts aligned with client requirements and budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, coordinating with architects and contractors, producing and reviewing construction drawings, and selecting FF&E; such as finishes, furniture, and fixtures. The role also involves client meetings, site visits to oversee implementation, and ensuring that work adheres to design standards and timelines.

Designer will collaborate closely with the Hillwood Interiors team to deliver high-quality, cohesive designs from concept through completion.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Interior Design skills, including concept development and aesthetic detailing.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to optimize layouts for functionality, comfort, and safety.
- Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to create, interpret, and coordinate technical plans.
- Candidates should possess FF&E; skills, including the selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience managing interior design projects from concept to execution, with strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or office design is preferred.
