Position: Interior Design Intern - Township Projects

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern who is keen to gain hands-on exposure to large-scale township and residential projects and wants to build a career in end-to-end project design and execution.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond basic design work and understand how a project moves from concept and detailed drawings to site execution and completion.

What You Will Get Exposure To

As part of the team, you will get practical exposure to:

- Large-scale township and residential developments
- Space planning and interior design development
- Preparation and coordination of detailed working drawings
- Architectural, interior and construction detailing
- Furniture layouts, partition details, ceiling plans and elevations
- Flooring, wall and finish details
- Toilet and wet-area detailing
- Door, window and joinery details
- Coordination of MEP and other consultant drawings
- BOQ, quantity understanding and material specifications
- Site measurements and site coordination
- Understanding drawings in relation to actual site conditions
- Vendor and contractor coordination
- Material selection and execution details
- Site inspections and quality checks
- Understanding the complete workflow from design → drawings → coordination → execution → handover

Key Requirement – Detailed Drawing Skills The candidate must have a strong understanding of detailed drawing creation and should be comfortable developing drawings that can actually be used for execution.

You should have good knowledge of:

- AutoCAD
- Detailed plans, elevations and sections
- Construction and joinery details
- Dimensioning and annotations
- Furniture and interior detailing
- Ceiling and flooring layouts




- Toilet details and plumbing point coordination
- Drawing standards and presentation
- Reading and understanding architectural drawings

Strong AutoCAD and detailed drawing skills are essential for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

- B.Des / B.Arch / Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture or related field
- Freshers and students with relevant experience may apply
- Strong AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other design software will be an added advantage
- Good communication and coordination skills
