Role Description The Interior Architect will work full time on-site in Chennai, collaborating closely with clients, designers, and contractors to deliver cohesive interior and architectural solutions.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing space plans, interior layouts, and detailed drawings that integrate aesthetics with functionality. The role involves coordinating interior fit-out works, selecting materials and finishes, and ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

The Interior

Architect will participate in site visits, supervise execution, resolve design-related issues, and maintain clear documentation.



Ongoing tasks also include presenting design proposals, incorporating feedback, and supporting continuous improvement of Spacewise’s design processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, visually compelling environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Interior Architecture to integrate building structure with interior concepts and technical detailing.
- Candidates should possess experience in Interior Fit-out to manage execution, coordinate with vendors, and ensure design integrity on site.
- Proficiency in design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and visualization tools for drawings, 3D models, and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Robust project coordination, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of materials, construction methods, building codes, and local regulations relevant to interior and architectural projects.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects; familiarity with premium or bespoke design environments is an advantage.
