Role Description The Intellectual Property Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for supporting the development, protection, and management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents and trademarks related to pharmaceutical products and technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in patent preparation and prosecution, conducting prior art and freedom-to-operate searches, reviewing scientific and technical documents,



and coordinating with external counsel and internal R&D; teams.

The role also involves monitoring IP landscapes, maintaining IP documentation and databases, supporting trademark filings and brand protection strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in target markets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge of Law and Intellectual Property Law.
- Candidates should possess skills in Patent Law and Patent Preparation, including drafting and reviewing patent applications.
- Candidates should possess experience with Trademarks, including filing, prosecution, and brand protection strategies.
- Candidates should possess the ability to analyze technical and scientific information and translate it into clear legal and IP documentation.
- Relevant degree in Law, Intellectual Property, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; advanced or specialized IP qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, particularly in IP management or regulatory-affairs-adjacent roles, is beneficial.
- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
